This vacation I saw some movies which I badly wanted to see for quite some time…Swades, Cheeni Kum, Salaam-e-Ishq. And I accidently came across Jab We Met. All the movies were really good. Saw many others too but they aren’t worth mentioning.
The vacation is over. Was reasonably good time for me. The holidays are over, new year is here, Its time to fly!
I am going back today.

I saw Korah Sir today. After four years;but it seems as if I had previously seen him just some time back. How fast two hours passed talking to him.One of the very few people to whom I am very natural while talking.Someone who understands me really well and my best well-wisher.To whom else can a Teacher mean so much as he is to me. Actually he explained to me precisely what my problems are. When he shows so much faith in me I wonder who I was and what I am now.
Benazir Bhutto assassinated.Unbelievable.Either she was immensely brave or she was very foolish.Lets hope she was brave.
Very much engrossed in my new 'interest'.Hope I take it very seriously.
Rest of the day was ordinary.
Never told my classmates or recognised them for their qualities but I want to say:I love you, all my friends.

Went to my native place yesterday. Saw appachan ammachi Moncychayan+family and many others. Missed Samachayan and Shajichayan. Anichayan phoned at noon. When will all the five brothers be together once again?
Went to a lot of places. Actually got exhausted of eating cakes. And some painful instances also. I will remember this trip for:
Driving: 250km a day is hectic but driving is my favourite activity, never tires me or bores me. Especially the return at night was terrible. You only see headlights ahead. You dont know at what distance they are or at what speed they are approaching you(unlike at day). Its all calculations.Thank God, came back home safely. It being Christmas everyone is expected to be on the road after "vellamadi'. The Alappuzha-Changancherry Road (My FAvourite Road) part was really gruelling...With toddy/arrack shops on either sides of the roads and frequent road-crossings I was expecting someone to jump in front of my car at any moment. And a couple of times "figures" crossed the road just metres away! Wonder when people will know that drivers can't see pedestrians at night. Those who cross the road can see the vehicles and they think the drivers can see them as clearly as they can see the vehicles. But it is not true and unfortunately pedestrians donot know this. That's why road-safety authorities advise us to wear bright clothes while walking at night.
Cancer: Never knew the intensity of this disease. Today I saw two extremes: 60 yr old and 8 yr old with cancer. Think this is the worst plight in life. Both out of pain and.. out of desperation. Was really moved.Oh God! Do something.
Love: There were instances of experiencing sincere love as well as those for just show-off. Please... Noone is interested in your love unless you want to. So please don't take the trouble of such show-offs.
Friends: What should I say?
My friends in college I phoned them all and wished them Christmas. In these four years I haven't done this(except first yr, perhaps).
My friends in Chengannur...missed them all. Jerrin phoned me. Couldn't talk much since I was driving. And I forgot to call him back.Oops. He is just 3km away from my home but couldnt see him. Toncy..Oh no. Really thought he was not at home but when he sms ed me in the hope of seeing me ...Oh no, I felt very bad. Many others didnot reply to my sms. May be were out for Christmas vacation. Didnot wish George and Cecil (and Sharon)...very bad. Will do it today.
Its reunion in school today. Tragically, I can't make it. But I don't feel anything.
Being at ekm has increased my frequency of visit to naatil.
I am maturing as a driver.
Life is really serious..at least for some.
Away from my friends.
In the end anyhow, it was a happy Christmas.

ok on christmas day 2007 i have started blogging. i am not familiar of the etiquettes here but i suppose i pen down my thoughts here.
something that touched me today.rather than the incident it was the 'truth' that touched me.
"You never know what awaits you round the bend in the road; life is so unpredictable and at times delectable".
Before making that turn i couldn't have even imagined of finding you there. What a coincidence! And if it wasn't for that bend I woudn't have noticed you. One moment, and suddenly how happy was I! Never knew just one turn away life can change this much.
Apart from being a personal experience I feel that it is a great reality. How unexpected are some major turning points in our life. Before they happen we never know that they could happen. Truly, before making a turn do we ever know what/who is awaiting us?
Days, Months, Years have gone. How I have changed. Will I ever find my self back? Its time to return. Yes, I am gonna...
By the way, this blogging, is it sheer waste of time? Coz I have spent a lot of time on this today. After all its for only me to read.
Maybe, sometime someday reading these 'my thoughts' may seem nice.
